Course Description
Beginning in February 2025, the Saint Paul Seminary CI will offer the School of Prayer. The School of Prayer is a one-year course taught by Fr. Lenny Andrie, Deacon Joe Michalak, Christina Smith, and various CI instructors.
The School of Prayer is for Catholic disciples who hunger for God and are willing to risk their lives being changed.
.
Catholics are great at saying prayers, and many have learned about prayer. Fewer, however, have been taught how to pray and have been led into prayer as an Encounter with the living God and as a sustained relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
.
This course presumes people who already pray and desire to become more aware of the Spirit’s movements within, more capable of overcoming obstacles to prayer, and more receptive to God drawing our hearts into his heart.
The course meets for two ten-week series (winter-spring and fall) at the Church of the Epiphany and includes a Thursday-Sunday overnight retreat (June 19-22) at Christ the King Retreat Center in Buffalo.
Students must commit to all three modules.
